I installed the files into a fresh version of TATW that is fully up to date. Only the single-player campaign. You can find it in the divide & conquer folder that is in the mod folder of your medieval II (steam = steamapps = common = medieval II = mods = divide and conquer).done and you are good to go. NOTE: When installing DaC V1.2, you have to point it to a different folder compared. In Third Age Total War you can play with all the important factions of the Third Age, including Gondor, Rohan, High and Silvan Elves, Dwarves, Dale, Eriador, Arnor, Isengard, Mordor, Rhun, Harad, the Orcs of the Misty Mountains and the Orcs of Gundabad.
