The HDD was fully formatted as FAT32 and the games added with wii backup manager with the format wbfs/title id/id.wbfs and GC games as games/id/game.iso using DMtoolbox. I'm using usbloader rev1271.7 on an SD card and the games running on an HDD (on the outside usb port). I used to have no problems with my USB loader GX before (i can play any games that i have downloaded from the internet) but when i try playing my existing games that i have bought in discs before, my wii disc mounter would first take it in then spit it out halfway then take it in again and completely spits it out that my disc would fall.

This is a quick start guide on how to use USB Loader GX, a popular USB loader for the Wii that’s used to play games from a USB drive.
USB Loader GX is a very popular program for the softmodded Wii console and one of the first widely accepted backup loaders for the Wii console. Most information in this guide was borrowed from the USB Loader GX online readme. I take no credit for such information or the abilities of the application itself. We recommend you copy games over with Wii Backup Manager if you use Windows, or Witgui if you use macOS.
To play multiple games, we recommend a USB-powered external hard drive for your Wii. We will refer to it as a “USB drive” in this guide. Most of the ones you can find on the market should work fine if they have USB 2 backwards compatibility. Drives with 1 TB or more in capacity will work. A flash drive will also work, but due to the size of a flash drive, it won’t be able to store as many games.
Make sure your USB drive is formatted as FAT32 or NTFS. Do not format it as other types such as extFS or WBFS, the latter is an old format of storing Wii games.
